Mission:
To increase the quality teaching and scientific, artistic, and cultural activities throughout the university that nurture the talents that will shape the future.
Vision:
To be a nationally and internationally respected university in terms of teaching, scientific research, and community service.
Purpose:
To increase research performance and to advance in the fields of entrepreneurship and innovation.
Targets:
H1: To increase the scientific and technological research competence of the university
H2: To establish and develop the Technology Transfer Office; provide the support that all stakeholders need in the modules defined within TTO, and to serve the society as a result.
H3: To be in the top of the Entrepreneurial and Innovative University Index rankings.
H4: To develop national and international cooperation and interactions in the fields of R&D and innovation.
Strategies:
S1. Increasing the number of articles/books/departments in books, which address İKÜ, published in international indexed journals per instructor (except textbooks)
S2. Increasing the number of projects received from R&D and innovation support programs
S3. Increasing the amount of funds received from R&D and innovation support programs
S4. Increasing the number of citations in scientific publications, which address İKÜ, (articles, books, conference proceedings)
S5. Increasing the number of Ph.D. graduates
S6. Establishment of Incubation, Incubation, and Accelerator Centers
S7. Inclusion of Creative Industries and Social Entrepreneurship projects and initiatives that will provide a social benefit under the roof of TTO
S8. Ensuring that organizations such as angel investors, KOSGEB meet entrepreneurs under the roof of TTO and increasing their interaction
S9. Increasing the number of trainings which are given to increase awareness on Intellectual Industrial Rights, patents and licensing, increasing the support provided in the patent application process in accordance with FSMH Directive
S10. Increasing the number of patent and license agreements applied/received
S11. Increasing the number of calls made to ensure the inclusion of entrepreneurs in the TTO
S12. Increasing the number of applications for national/international support projects
S13. upporting and increasing the support for academic staff in project writing, application, and administrative processes

S17. Developing R&D projects by cooperating with the private sector, public institutions, NGOs, and organized industrial zones
S18. Increasing the amount of funds received from R&D and innovation projects carried out by university-industry cooperation
